Water Damage in a Finished Basement

This flooded finished basement in Perry County was the aftermath of hurricane Ida. There was several inches of water in this basement and the carpet needed to be removed. With this amount of water in a finished basement, the insulation and drywall becomes saturated and could promote mold growth. In this situation a foot of drywall and insulation was removed. Our reconstruction manager worked hard to restore this basement to livable conditions by replacing the insulation, drywall, and carpet.
